Description
GelXA BONE has been developed as a bioink for applications with cells that require the presence of osteoinductive stimuli. This modification imparts an osteogenic capacity in the bioink to guide cell differentiation. To achieve this, tricalcium phosphate (TCP) and hydroxyapatite particles are dispersed uniformly within the GelXA BONE bioink.
GelXA BONE can be utilized as a base material for the fabrication of bone constructs. Additionally, it can be utilized to supplement constructs that are comprised of thermoplastics such as PCL or PLGA.
Application
GelXA BONE is intended for use with cell types and tissue applications related to the bones, joints, and interfaces such as the bone-to-ligament or bone-to-cartilage transition region.
See the attached document for the bioprinting protocol.
